About Me

That post-war style

I love the way that people dressed in the late 1940s. It was such a cool time for clothes as they suddenly didn't have to worry about clothes rationing and wanted to start looking happy again. I like to study different eras of clothing then create outfits from the thrift store that are inspired by some of the classic outfits of eras. I show how you can modify clothes from all different eras to get the style you want — so a 1980s power suit can become a post-war smart suit with just a little tweak. I also have beauty tips from the era. I hope you'll get inspired by my style experiments and try some fashion magic of your own.
